I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Christine and Ilan are officially engaged!! Whoohoo! These two plan to tie the knot with a semi-traditional Jewish wedding ceremony and reception this fall and it’s going to be amazing!
We met up in Leavenworth, WA to head out into the snowy depths of Blewett Pass for their engagement session. It was hard to narrow down what location we’d be hitting up beforehand, so the morning of, Christine texts me saying to bring my snowshoes- oh boy! This winter has lasted so long so I ended getting snowshoes for sessions, so I’m glad I had some on hand! We ended up at a little Sno-Park at the peak of Blewett Pass, and snowshoed our way into the trail.
Also, that very morning- Ilan proposed to Christine! They have been planning their wedding day technically even before they were officially engaged! Honestly, my husband and I did the same thing with booking our venue before we were official, too! Gotta do that you gotta do! Ilan proposed with some legit jewelry that he made out of some rock climbing gear pieces- a cool bracelet and earrings. So incredibly cool! These two even made these awesome cool customized camping mugs for their wedding guests and brought some with to have coffee cocoa. They are super adorable!
Snowshoeing was incredibly exhausting, but it was totally worth it seeing these two in their element and hiking through these woods. I only fell down once and ripped open my finger trying to put them on, not a ton of blood, but it was all totally worth it and was a great experience. Finally got to break my new snowshoes in! Christine and Ilan are super awesome rock climbers in their spare time and love to adventure outside. They have even hiked the Pacific Northwest Trail!! Like… holy cow!
These two are so funny, and their puppy Harriett was extra cuddly in the car ride up, and was always trying to protect mom as she was piggybacking on Ilan’s back lol A the end of this session as we were heading back to my car, right in the corner of the Safeway parking lot was this little bunch of trees and the sun setting behind the snow-covered mountain, so of course we had to do a few last minute golden shots there 😉
Such a fun session, check it out below!
