Jamie + Britany | Sun Mountain Lodge Intimate Wedding | Winthrop, WA

Jamie & Britany are married!!! They had their gorgeous and intimate wedding ceremony at the Sun Mountain Lodge up in the high and stunning mountains in Winthrop, WA. Surrounded by no more than 13 people, these two tied the knot and exchanged their vows overlooking the valley. The view alone was gorgeous and these two looked absolutely stunning in their David’s Bridal gowns.

These two soulmates are staying at this adorable cabin on the Sun Mountain Lodge property all week and are going to relax, read, and be newlyweds along the lakeside. They got ready at their little cabin, then we headed up to the Lodge for their intimate wedding ceremony, portraits, and dinner in the wine cellar. They kept their wedding simple but super elegant with their gorgeous wedding gowns, fancy taco bar at the Lodge, and beautiful details.

Britany’s kids walked her down the aisle and even joined in on their first dance together. Their whole day was intimate, relaxed, and beautiful.

It was during a concert that reality set in for Jamie that Britany was her person. “We made a last minute decision to go to the MatchBox 20 and Counting Crows concert. I don’t remember exactly what Britany was laughing at, but I knew in that instant admiring her pure happiness while ‘Overjoyed’ played live through the speakers, that I wanted to witness that smile the rest of my life,” she says. A ring was bought, and after a particularly intense game night with their kids, the moms were picking up when their song came on the radio. “I had been carrying the ring around everywhere for days waiting to ask her, but couldn’t find the right moment,” says Jamie. “I knew then that it was the right moment to ask her to marry me. It was so simple, yet intimate and looking back on it, I don’t know why I stressed so much. It was perfect.”
