I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Katelynn and Austin are married and they had an awesome The Five2Five wedding at the The Five2Five Wedding & Event Venue in Buckley, WA. With a little bit of cloud cover and tons of trees/ greenery, their wedding day was dreamy and super PNW style. These two cuties only had about 4 months to plan their wedding and they reached out to me even before they were engaged! It’s funny how quite a few couples are doing that these days because vendors like me get so booked up pretty quickly- My husband and I even booked our date and venue before we were engaged. We knew we were going to get married, and I knew he was going to propose, so we just went for it 😉
Anyway! Katelynn and Austin are super sweet and it was so much fun photographing their wedding day. I’m so in love with their brown suits and their green bridesmaids dresses, it was all so earthy tones and I’m all here for it. Also all the different colored green gowns, YES PLEASE! These two had a lovely day with a traditional first look down the aisle, pizza for dinner, dancing into the night, and an awesome sparkler send off. Everything was so pretty and they did such an amazing job with 4 months of planning!!
So this is how these two met: “Once upon a time, Austin walked into the good ol’ friendly neighborhood Applebees in Auburn when Katelynn was training to become a bartender. Austin was on his lunch break from a temp job he was working since he had just moved to Washington in December of 2017. During Austins lunch he came down to the bar where Katelynn was working. From there, Austin asked if any of us knew where a good barbershop was and Katelynn said it was across the street…. About a week later, Austin came back to Applebees for lunch again where Katelynn was working. This time, Austin began to tell of the recent events that had just happened in his life and why he moved to Washington from Texas. Katelynn was surprised that Austin did not have a southern accent… and this is where the story began.”
And this is how their proposal went down: “Austin took me to the Eatonville waterfalls on a hike because he knows that I love the outdoors. Once we got to the waterfalls, I saw my best friend and cousin running down the mountains and then Austin got down on one knee and proposed.”
Too cute!! A huge congrats to Katelynn and Austin!! Cheers!
