Boys Like Girls

This Moore Theater Concert was absolutely incredible with Boys Like Girls, IDKhow, and Arrows in Action. Seriously, I don’t know how they kept the stage from being on fire, because all these bands were burning down the house! Too cheesy? Yeah, that’s my style. This was an electric night and I’m so excited to share this gallery with you all!

First up, was Arrows in Action and they really got the crowd going! The guitarist at one point danced the macarena, he tried to get the crowd to sing louder, and they just all around had an amazing stage presence. Their fans love them, and there was also another photographer there who was a huge fan, so she was so pumped to be there for them!

Next was iDKhow, and man oh man, the stage presence of the lead singer! His voice reminded me of Brendon Urie from Panic! At the Disco band, and his range was out of this world. These guys know how to perform and it was so incredible to watch. I couldn’t take my eyes off them- they were always dancing around, smiling, getting the audience involved, everything and at the end, they brought out a saxophone (my favorite) and had the most epic moment on stage I’ve photographed with everyone playing together next to one another, and it was ‘the shot’. So great!

Finally, the main event, Boys Like Girls took the stage with thunder and it was the coolest moment. I was in the photo pit for the first 3 songs of every artist, but these boys- they were on the standing blocks right over my head and it was like a 3D experience haha My millennial heart was so happy hearing all their classics and big hits. They played their two albums front to back and everyone knew the words. People dressed up in neon colors, other tour shirts, emo-style vibes, all sorts of people were dancing, singing, and just enjoying the electric current this band brought to the stage. Truly one of the best shows I’ve had the pleasure of photographing and I just love all the moments when the band members looked at my camera, just true performers and made this photographer extremely happy 🙂

If you ever get the chance to go see any of these bands, DO IT! You don’t be sorry and you’ll enjoy every second of it 🙂
