Did you just get engaged and are starting to plan your wedding? Need a wedding venue? Well today on the blog, I’m breaking down my Top 10 Best Seattle Wedding Venues to check out and get more info on each one. There are so many amazing wedding venues in and around the greater Seattle area, and it’s hard to know where to start. First, you’re going to want to know how many people you plan on inviting and how much you want to spend. Depending on your budget and how many guests you want attending, that’ll help determine how big you need your venue, how much parking you’ll need, and how much you actually want to spend on the space.
A little about me, my name is Sarah Jane and I’m the photographer behind Works by Sarah Jane Photography. I’ve been a wedding photographer for 7 years now and love every second of it! It’s my total dream job and I just love documenting all the in-between and unique moments each couple brings 🙂 Ahhh I could gush about weddings all day long, but for now, let’s chat about my Top 10 Best Seattle Wedding Venues!

#1) Within Sodo (Seatttle, WA)
Okay, Within Sodo is super cool and has that total industrial look. With the rooftop views and the cool spacious warehouse vibe downstairs, you have plenty of awesome space to have your wedding and reception. You can have your ceremony on the roof, inside the brick walled- area, or anywhere else, really. So many spots to choose from, and great views upstairs. Super fun and industrial / city vibes you want. Parking is a bit weird and hard to find, but carpooling or finding paid parking lots helps. Really cool venue!
Max Capacity: 625 – 450 downstairs and 175 upstairs
Price Range: Quote upon Request
Parking: Not too much/ paid parking lots near by

You’re right in the heart of Fairhaven in the beautiful Bellingham, WA, so there’s plenty of city life all around. I love this venue and it seriously has it all. This one’s for all my elopement adventurous couples! Mt. Rainier is gorgeous all around and no matter what park you go to within the national park, you’ll have plenty of nature mountain vibes, forest, and so much more beauty. I love going to Sunrise Visitor Center, Paradise, and Tipsoo Lake within Mt. Rainier National Park. You’ll need a Mt. Rainier National Park Pass (which you can pay for online or at the pay booth before entering the park. At Tipsoo Lake, you don’t have to pay for a MRNPP but you do need a Discovery Pass. Puppies are also not allowed at all in the national park.

#4) Seattle Municipal Court (Seattle, WA)
I shot a wedding here last February for Valentines Day and it was truly amazing. We went up to the top floor on the roof and captured family portraits and bridal portraits overlooking the entire downtown Seattle. It was absolutely amazing and then we got to have their elopement ceremony on the top floor as well during blue hour and it was just really gorgeous and fun. You don’t get to choose where you’ll hold your ceremony, but if you request a certain spot like up on the roof or in a more pretty area within the courthouse with the judge, they might accommodate. It’s also first come, first serve, so make sure you have your payment, paperwork, and everything you’ll need to get married. Judges are available after 4:30pm and it is first come first serve.
Max Capacity: 8 people per party
Price Range: $100-$150
Parking: Street Parking/ Parking Garage
