I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Guys, I can not stress enough that you should have a professional photographer when you pop the big question- and I’ll give you 3 reasons why!
You’ll remember the day you proposed to the love of your life with professional documentation of it. People always ask how you proposed so with the help of a ninja photographer, you can tell your love story along with some wonderful pictures to go along with it. When you’re old and gray, wouldn’t be nice to look back at some of the most special moments in life like when you asked the women you love to marry you? I know I would! When Matt proposed, it was just me and him alone on the beautiful beaches of Oregon. I loved every moment of it, but I do wish we had pictures of him on one knee- the moment goes by so fast.
If your lady is the kind of women who loves it when she knows your planning something or putting a lot of work into something special for her, then having a grand proposal sounds like a plan. Guaranteed, she will absolutely love the idea of you asking a photographer to be at the place at a certain time just for that one moment- just for her. You already got the ring, you’re thinking of what to say to her, maybe planning a speech, so also planning someone to document it would be the cherry on top. Sometimes guys hire a professional videographer as well, but as long as you have someone capturing this moment, you’ll be covered.
Along with your engagement pictures, you can have these moments as decorations around your wedding reception. You could even have more pictures to put in your wedding album, or somewhere your guests can sign your wedding book. Since chances are your guests were not at your engagement moment, they would love and enjoy seeing that moment during your wedding day. Older family members tend to not be on social media so whatever prints or announcements they see would be such a treat.
So men, I’m calling you out! I hope this week’s banter is an encouragement to hire a professional photographer when you pop the big question! Thanks for reading along with this week’s Sarah Jane’s Bridal Banter and tune in next week for another installment of wedding bantering!
Have a great Wednesday, friends!
