I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Alex and Kevin are married and had the most colorful and magical boho-inspired Cabin Creek Lodge wedding on August 1st, 2020. These two had all the colors throughout their special day, their puppies by their side, vintage rugs down the aisle, and all the love to go around. Seriously, you just feel like family at this wedding and Alex and Kevin always looked at each other with that twinkle in their eyes. It was all truly magical and unique! Like most weddings these days, many are effected by COVID and now not being able to have receptions, so Alex and Kevin had to reschedule their wedding day before the ‘no reception’ rule went into affect, so they moved their wedding up by a week. Everything came together but they also streamed their ceremony over Zoom to their family in Romania that were unable to come. The couple checked in with everyone on their computer and it was really special.
What I really loved about their wedding in the woods, was that they had their own choreographed first dance that was truly epic and that Kevin sang John Legend’s “All of Me” song to his new bride. So romantic and moving! These two put so much love and thought into their boho-inspired day from the vintage rugs they walked down the aisle with, the various colorful wedding party attire, their personalized bobblehead, and even down to the glowing sneakers Alex wore for her dance party. Their PNW wedding is now one of my favorite days.
While celebrating Alex’s birthday at a mountain lodge, Kevin popped the question at sunset during a riverside walk. Alex was very surprised but of course said yes! They have been together for 3 years and when asked what they love to do together, they said, “We like to walk the dogs together, go on hikes, travel and golf.” So naturally, having their wedding in the forest at a mountain lodge was absolutely perfect.
I’m super stoked to be sharing with y’all their amazingly colorful wedding day below.

A little love note from Alex + Kevin:
“Sarah was beyond amazing! We picked her after doing some research about photographers in Eastern Washington. Her portfolio spoke for itself, her pricing was reasonable and her packages included an engagement shoot and wedding photos. She was also able to travel to various locations. After meeting Sarah and finishing our engagement shoot, we knew we had made the right choice. Sarah was so easy to work with and managed to get us comfortable in front of the camera (no easy feat). Our engagement photos were amazing! Fast forward to planning during COVID and Sarah was very flexible, answered all my what-if questions and was ready to roll with the punches. During a very stressful time, Sarah was so kind and understanding and we appreciate it wholeheartedly. We ended up changing our wedding date very last minute. Sarah was on-board and armed with all the COVID precautions she shot our wedding. The pictures turned out amazing, I cried when I saw them. She has an eye for capturing all the moments. We have already recommended her to all our friends, and some of them have booked her services. Hoping to use Sarah as my photographer for any other needs in the future! Thank you for capturing our wedding to perfection!”
