I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Teresa and Chad had such a gorgeous wedding at the Gray Bridge venue in Sultan, WA with all the glam, sparkle, and elegance. Seriously, their wedding was filled with so much charm and detail that it all felt so amazing. Teresa’s gown flowed so magically, Chad was so nervous before seeing his bride that it was adorable, all their florals in their reception tent were out of this world, and their personality shinned through it all. I can’t tell you how amazing it was to work with these two wonderful people and get to capture their glamorous wedding day at Gray Bridge. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family for their intimate ceremony by the pond, followed by an elegant reception tent party and amazing dancing at the end of the night. What I really loved about their wedding day was how they looked at each other throughout the whole day. Chad and Teresa are just so in love and you can really feel that they have truly found their love of their lives.
Also, Gray Bridge is on a farm in Sultan, WA so I asked the venue owners if we could possibly sneak into the horse pasture at golden hour for some more bridal portraits, so they brought out beautiful Isabelle and we were able to get some really cool and glamorous bridal shots. So much fun!
Okay, this is how the proposal went down: “Chad brought me to the park we would go to when we first met. It was a magical place on Mercer Island by the apartment he lived at that time. We walked around the park for a while, I didn’t know he was looking for a place where it was private. We stopped in this perfect place, no one was around, you could hear the water splashing onto the rocks and look out across the water, it was a beautiful sunny summer day Aug 2 2019. I thought he was kidding around when he got down on one knee! I said right away, yea right….. He had been joking around for a while pretending,,, To my total surprise he pulled out a ring box and asked me and I just lost it and cried. He had to ask me what my answer was. Of course YES! I replied. It was magical, I will never forget that moment. I didn’t expect him to want to start planning right away but right after he said, when do you want to get married? So here we are and our wedding date is exactly one year later. Aug 2 2020!”
When asked what their favorite thing about each other was, they said, “We don’t really fight, we talk, compromise and support each other. We both are really goofy when we are alone together, it’s great!”
Love it so much!! I’m super stoked to share with you all their amazing and elegant wedding day below.
