Allison + Nick | Rainy Rattlesnake Lake Engagement

Allison + Nick are engaged and about to get married this May! We had the best rainy Rattlesnake Lake engagement session with these two looking all adorable and soaking in all the raindrops. It seriously rained on us the entire time, but that didn’t stop these two from being all adorable. They brought along their gorgeous golden retriever, Chloe, and she was so much fun and looked right at my camera! I brought along my little squeaky toy (Ellie’s not mine specifically) which totally helped Chloe focus on me 🙂 Allison and Nick are super cute together and the way Nick looks at Allison was just all the feels. These two are planning to have an awesome and intimate boho-inspired wedding in a few months and I’m beyond excited!!

I get it, if it’s rainy, you can’t possibly have an awesome engagement session, well this session totally proved the world wrong! I’ve shot in the rain before, and when it’s not exactly the best conditions, but it’s still plenty fun. Allison and Nick were such troopers and were absolutely in great spirits! I highly recommend bringing along some cute clear dome umbrellas and a blanket to put everything down on to make sure any jackets or shoes, or anything you bring along doesn’t get wet. I just had the idea of getting a mat to put under the blanket so the wet ground doesn’t soak through. I found these awesome ones here: Gathre Mats.
