I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Tracy and Darrin had a super intimate Bella Fiori Gardens wedding in Kennewick, WA over the weekend and it was gorgeous. They only had 20 of their closest friends (thank you to the Pandemic) but it was still beautiful. It was such a windy day, about 50 mph winds, but that didn’t stop Tracy and Darrin from exchanging their vows surrounded by their loved ones. These two gorgeous people are also expecting their first child, so we had an awesome gender reveal during their reception. I’m not going to spoil it for you all, you’ll have to scroll down and check out their gallery to find out the gender!!
Bella Fiori Gardens is one of my favorite Eastern Washington wedding venues because it seriously has everything and the owner, Michelle, is a rockstar. If you’re looking for a fun garden wedding, with tons of elegance, manicured lawn maintenance, and water fountains, this is the place for you. It’s magical and ‘secret garden’esk. Michelle just got some awesome sparkler boxes as well, and so we tried them out on Tracy and Darrin and it was SO cool!
Darrin’s last name is also Love, so there was this giant Love sign inside the reception hall that made for a perfect backdrop for their gender reveal, first dance, and everything else! So cute!
This is how these two awesome people met: “We met freshman year in college, we lived in the same dorm / same floor. At first, I couldn’t stand him but at the same time, I just wanted to be with him. It was like there was a magnetic connection between us but we were both too stubborn to accept our true feelings until we went our separate ways. Couple years later, we connected and picked up where we left off at oblivious to the fact that we weren’t together for awhile although, it didn’t feel like it at all. Until this day, I question what would’ve happened in the past if we gave it a shot but it’s crazy how things ended up now, I don’t want to change anything :)”
This is how the proposal went down: “Darrin originally wanted to propose in Leavenworth on my birthday (February 13, 2021) but there was no one to capture this special moment so he proposed on December 25, 2020 with family 🙂 I had absolutely no idea he was going to propose! His sister gave us our “Christmas present” in a big box and it was one of those presents where there’s a box within another box. The last box came, I was still clueless at what was going on at that point then all of a sudden, Darrin snatched the smallest box out of my hand and got down on one knee and I screamed with joy :)”
It was an awesome day hanging out with these two and their families at the gardens. Super cute, awesome dance moves, amazing gender reveal (I totally called it by the way) and fun sparklers at the end of a great day. Check out their wedding below!
