I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
When I think of an Artist Point Elopement, I usually picture sweeping mountain views, glowing sunsets, and maybe a little crisp alpine breeze. But Christina and Robbie’s day proved that even when the weather doesn’t cooperate, love and joy always shine through! These two embraced every single moment of their wild, rainy adventure—and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable celebrations I’ve ever witnessed.
They started their day tucked away in the foothills of Mt. Baker at the most charming little cabin. It was the kind of place that felt like a storybook treehouse—moody, cozy, and completely magical! With soft light streaming in through the windows, they cut their cake, signed their paperwork, and shared quiet moments together before heading into the storm. Knowing that the mountain weather was unpredictable, they wanted to soak in those intimate cabin vibes before the adventure really began.
Their ceremony took place at Picture Lake, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Even as the summer Atmospheric River poured down rain and the wind whipped across the lake, the joy on everyone’s faces was undeniable. Umbrellas flipped, raindrops ran down cheeks, and still, Christina and Robbie stood together and promised forever.
From there, we drove up to Heather Meadows where the fog rolled in thick over the peaks. Instead of shying away, these two ran right into the storm—dancing, popping champagne, laughing, and even tossing the umbrellas aside at one point. By the end of the night, we were all soaked to the bone, but it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Christina and Robbie’s Artist Point Elopement is a reminder that sometimes the most memorable wedding days aren’t the ones with perfect weather, but the ones where you fully embrace the moment. Rain or shine, these two showed up for each other and created the most magical, joy-filled day!!
