Chelsea + Casey | The Cove at Normandy Park Wedding

Chelsea and Casey are finally married! They had a gorgeous wedding at The Cove in Normandy Park at the community center and it was stunning. With rose gold details, all their close friends and family, and of course their golden retriever, Smalls, it was such a perfect day. Chelsea and Casey are super adorable together and their smiles are so electric. Their love for everyone was so fun to watch and capture throughout the day and I’m so excited for them to also be expecting!! They had a fun raffle during the reception for people to guess if they are having a boy or a girl with fun hats they had. The winner of the raffle won a bottle of wine- it was really cool!

They had a fun and relaxing wedding day with a private first look, fun family photos, sun-kissed ceremony, reception, bbq dinner, toasts, dances, and of course, sunset photos on the beach. Which was awesome because we had our engagement session together on their favorite local beach in Burien, so naturally, we had to do their wedding photos on the beach, too! SOOO gorgeous! One of my favorite and unique things they did on their wedding day was after they cut their cake, they didn’t have cupcakes or more cake for everyone else, instead, they brought in Dicks Drive In burgers and Fries for everyone. SO cool and everyone loved it!

Okay, so this is how their proposal went down: “Casey actually had the ring since February but knew he wanted to wait to propose to me at a really meaningful place for me. Every year since before I was born my whole family and family friends have gone camping at Lake Chelan State Park, we go every year to the same exact spot in July. When we arrived last summer we stopped by a winery on our way in and I remember thinking “if he was gonna propose he would’ve done it here” so I didn’t even think any more of it. Then we got to the campsite for our first night and Casey took me out on the dock around sunset to take pictures (still totally oblivious to anything) and then he got down on one knee…it was just us on the dock and that was so special, but all those closest to me go to watch it happen from the campsite and then we all got to celebrate together over the next few days. It was so magical, and the fact that he did it in the place that has my heart with my family there is why I love him so much :).”

When asked what they are looking forward to the most in their future together, they responded: “Absolutely everything. Knowing that we get to spend our live together is the greatest feeling…starting a family together and making new traditions of our own, I can’t wait! Did I mention we will be 17 weeks pregnant at the wedding lol…we just knew we didn’t want to wait any longer to start our family :)” Too precious!

Casey and I both cannot get over how much you helped bring our dream wedding to life…you were truly the heart and soul of the happiest day of our lives and there is no way that we could’ve ever done it without you!!!! You are such an amazing person and were an absolute pleasure to work with, bringing so much joy and happiness to this adventure! Thank you, thank you a million times over, we’re still floating on a cloud :)! ” BRB CRYING!!
