I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Christy and Andrew had a cozy Puyallup Backyard Wedding at Andrew’s parent’s home to celebrate the next chapter in their story. Surrounded by their friends and family, this gorgeous couple solidified their wedded union and vowed to their forever together. In typical Washington fashion, it would not be an outdoor wedding without the slight chance of ominous weather. However, despite the overcast skies and sprinkles of rain, Christy and Andrew forged on with their day. I will say, it was absolutely stunning!
Following the ceremony, Christy and Andrew had a ‘choreographed’ first dance and quite literally scorched the dance floor together! It was so sweet to see how important this moment was to them, and worth every step they took to making it special! This newly blended family moved into their evening enjoying some delicious tacos and dancing the night away! Additionally, Christy and Andrew went to Western Washington University, which just so happened to be my alma mater! It was such an incredible time getting to meet her family and friends and build connections on such a pivotal era in our lives! There was such a tender innocence to the love these two shared, adn this shined throughout the entire day with each embrace! What a beautiful, easy and stress free way to ring in the journey of becoming husband and wife!
A little more about this darling couple:
The Proposal: We had an evening picnic in the mountains beside a lake during golden hour. He pretended to take a photo of me facing the other way, and when I turned around, he was on one knee. After he proposed, I was speechless just being overcome with emotion and could barely get a “yes” out.
Favorite part of being together: Just being solid life partners together and getting to share every day together as best friends. We laugh a ton and can be our weird selves together. Furthermore, we uplifted and encourage each other, have shared goals, and work hard together to create a life we love. We have really loved creating our own family with each other, our pets, and each of our respective families.
