Emily + Justin | Eagle Falls Portrait Session

Emily + Justin had such a magical Eagle Falls portrait session in the Stevens Pass area over the weekend and guys, I am totally shook. So here’s the long story about adventuring: I was supposed to attend the Hey Darling Workshop with the legend, Henry Tieu, but this year got crazy busy so I was able to exchange going to the workshop to a mini mentor session. We had Zoom meetings and then finished our time adventuring to Eagle Falls with two of my most favorite videographers.

I first met Emily and Justin of RoamArrow Wedding Films about 2 years ago shooting a wedding together. We instantly clicked and I recommend hiring them for your elopement or wedding for everyone. These two are so amazing, real, authentic lovely people and they will without a doubt capture your vibe, feeling, and love that fills your day. So talented! So they made the journey over to my house, we had a slumber party, and then adventured to Stevens Pass to meet up with Henry.

We stopped on the side of the road for some epic snowy mountain shots, and then to the gorgeous Eagle Falls. The water there was so stunning and Henry was such an amazing mentor. I learned so much and I highly recommend hanging out with him for a mentor session! It was such a blast and creating together was such a magical afternoon. This is such a fun, moody, and gorgeous session, and I’m super proud of the magic we all created together. Amazing group of people, all the feels, and of course we had to do double exposures and plenty of GIFs! haha

Thank you SO much to Emily and Justin for making the trip out to Yakima and then to Skykomish, and a huge thank you to Henry for taking us on this adventure and teaching me so much.
