I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Emma and Kaleb had a wildflower-filled intimate Mt. Rainier Elopement up at Paradise last week and it was perfect. They only had their parents and Emma’s brother, Preston, there to witness their marriage right in front of the glorious Mt. Rainier. There was a bit of a haze over Rainier due to all the wildfires around the PNW, but it was still gorgeous as it oversaw their ceremony. Their Mt. Rainier Elopement is one of my favorite weddings up at the mountain- so much fun and beauty!
For Emma + Kaleb’s Mt. Rainier adventure, we started at the Nisqually Loop Trail where there are tons of gorgeous wildflowers all around us, for their first look, and then their ceremony just up the trail there. Kaleb’s father married them and it was super sweet. With Rainier in the background, their elopement was totally pnw magic. We then adventured over to the Myrtle Falls trail to get some waterfall shots, and the rest of the evening, we adventured around the meadows for bridal portraits. Super amazing and killer views of the mountain and Paradise.
Emma and Kaleb are super adorable together and I loved how Kaleb cried when he saw his bride for the first time that day. It was so emotional and these two just love each other so much. They flew with their families all the way from Michigan state to elope at Mt. Rainier National Park. They have traveled to a ton of National Parks all around the nation but Emma fell in love with Rainier, so they got married there. So cool!
This is how their proposal went down: “We took a trip to Montana glacier national park. I could tell he was really nervous and the very first day he got down on 1 knee while we were taking pictures along lake Mcdonald.”
When asked what they love to do together, they answered: “Hiking, exercising, lazy Sundays, movie nights, long walks.” They seriously love hiking. They were in Washington for a few days before their elopement with me, and they hiked all around Paradise and Sunrise. And their favorite part about being together? “Constantly making each other laugh at things no one else would understand.” Too cute!
I’m super stoked to share with you all Emma and Kaleb’s Mt. Rainier Elopement. Cheers and congrats, you two!
