Teresa + Chad | Golden Rattlesnake Lake Engagement Session | North Bend, WA

Teresa and Chad had such a perfect Golden Rattlesnake Lake Engagement Session at Rattlesnake Lake in North Bend, WA last night and it was oh so wonderful. We wondered around the gorgeous sun-kissed forest at the trailhead of the Rattlesnake Ledge, then into the ‘stump tow’n’ (as I like to call it), where normally the lake would be, but has dried up for the winter. We caught the sunset just as it was setting over the lake/ ‘stump town’ and so we had an elegant charcuterie board picnic with some wine and then danced till the sun set around these two adorable people.

Teresa and Chad met when Chad was doing some IT repair/ work at Teresa’s work at the hospital and they started chatting and the rest was history! These two are literally so cute. They even brought their little spirit animals figurines with them, a tiger and a orca. Chad is the tiger since he knows kung-fu and his father is called The Dragon, since he’s the kung-fu master, so Chad, being his son, is the tiger. Teresa is an Orca because she fell in love with them when she was younger learning about them and never lost interested in how awesome Orcas are. Seriously so awesome!

Also, guess what, I GOT A DRONE, FRIENDS!!! That’s right! This was my first engagement session where I got the chance to photograph my adorable couple with a DRONE!!! AHHHH!!!! And i’m bringing this little guy with me to every session now. It was so incredible to get to fly this this guy and get a whole new perspective on my couples. The photo above, yup, DRONE! You guys, I’m so mega excited about this puppy and I can’t wait to use it more, get better at the angles, and just explore a whole new element to engagement sessions. YAY!
