I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Lili and Tony got married yesterday at the gorgeous St. Paul’s Cathedral in downtown Yakima, WA and then an awesome fall and rustic reception at the Mighty Tieton Warehouse in Tieton, WA. With rich and warm hues of orange, these two created such a gorgeous fall wedding. Their Rustic Fall Mighty Tieton Warehouse Wedding is definitely one for the books!
Their classic Catholic ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral was so beautiful and perfectly elegant. Then they had a family-filled and love-centered reception with plenty of silly dancing and big smiles. Lili and Tony are so adorable and cute together. For their Bridals, we wondered around Tieton to this darling little teal post office building, the awesome brick warehouses, and some fun pompous-filled garden next to Mighty Tieton. We event stumbled into this vintage (possibly haunted) laundry mat and it was so cute! Some of my favorite bridals 😉
How they met: “It’s a bit embarrassing.Tony and I met in the Fall if 2013 through a mutual friend at a Bar in Ellensburg (301 or as we’d like to say 3-0 Fun) We were both attending CWU at the time. One of us had too much to drink, and it wasn’t him. I got sick from excessive drinking and I remember how he just stood there watching while eating candy. We got to know each other and hung out for about 1 yr. We finally started dating December of 2014!”
How the proposal went down: “On February 16th if this year, Tony and I had made plans to visit his family on the Westside. We wanted to make a stop in Seattle before stopping at his parents house to have lunch at our favorite sushi place downtown. After lunch we had a drink at a restaurant that overlooked the Pike Place Market sign. We had great conversation discussing our future together. Tony insisted on going to the market. To get me flowers. By this time most of the shops had close. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get flowers, so I suggested the next best thing… donuts!!! We stopped at a pastry shop right in front of the sign. He kept asking to take a picture together in front of the market sign . I came up with different reasons why I didn’t want to! I’m not a fan of taking pictures. He finally convinced me, as we were standing right below the sign, he got down on one knee and asked if I’d marry him. I was so in disbelief and kept asking him “are you serious?!” I looked over and his best friend was across the way capturing pictures of that moment. I don’t even remember saying yes (I’m getting married in a few days I’m assuming I said yes.) We hugged, I was still in disbelief despite having a ring on my finger and hearing cheers coming from bystanders.”
So excited to share with you all their beautiful wedding day below.
