I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Hazel and Dan are engaged! Their Lake Easton engagement session last weekend was super snowy and awesome with these two cuties. We adventured all around the Lake Easton State Park Day-Use area and it did not disappoint! Yes, there was still tons of snow everywhere, but that’s exactly what Hazel wanted and we sure got it! Hazel and Dan were such troopers hiking all around this cute little area in the deep snow. We should have brought snowshoes, but we’re rebels! These two cuties have been engaged for about a year now and their wedding in September is going to be super gorgeous. They are also expecting their first child together, Nathan, and I seriously can’t wait to meet them and photograph their new little family together on their wedding day.
Lake Easton is such an awesome spot to have engagement photos at if you’re into the forest and lake vibes. With plenty of trees, parking, and views, this spot has it all. Keep in mind that you’ll need a Sno-Park pass in the winter with a special sticker for groomed trails. I wasn’t aware of it so the nice ranger gave me a little talking to. Oh well! I know now and I’m now sharing it with all of you!
Anyway! Hazel and Dan mentioned in our initial consultation, that they are super in love (especially Dan) with double exposure shots. So we totally captured a magical double exposure of these two into a tree. Super fun and I was blown away at this shot. I’m not tooting my own horn here, I just am shocked how well it turned out haha I love making this kind of art in my camera and I’m exited to try more fun techniques out!
So excited to share Hazel and Dan’s Lake Easton engagement session below. Cheers!
