I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Madison + Nick had the most gorgeous fall and boho-inspired Tin Roof Barn Wedding!! I’m so in love with the emerald green gowns, the mismatched chairs in the barn, and of course, how gorgeous Madison and Nick are together. These two are so much fun and their day was nothing short of awesomeness! Nick is super in love with the color lime green, but I can’t imagine a lime green wedding, so they had green velvet tones throughout, an awesome neon sign, and golden hour photos to die for. Seriously.
This was my first time shooting at the Tin Roof Barn and it did not disappoint! The entire property is stunning, complete with large getting ready rooms, a gorgeous barn with all sorts of chairs of different sizes and shapes, a cool cocktail hour space, and an amazing sunset. Some of my favorite moments throughout their wedding day was during the speeches, Nick made a surprise slideshow for Madison complete with a guest start appearance by Madison’s favorite song writer (which was actually their first dance song). Another one was how Nick did anything he could to get lime green in the wedding, so someone brought lime green party hats for everyone to wear at the end of the night on the dance floor. He was so surprised and it all looked super fun!
Madison and Nick met on the beach playing volleyball and his ‘making a move’ was saying she had really great hands… you know, as in handling the volleyball on the court haha “We met at Nashville Beach playing sand volleyball each with our own double’s partner at first. We were able to watch each other play and hang out on the weekends. Nick asked me to play with him in a tournament and the rest was history! :)”
This is how the proposal went down: “It was actually on April Fool’s Day. Nick told me that a friend from work gave him concert tickets and told me where to meet him after work. He brought me to the restaurant where he met my family for the first time and had Adam Doleac record a special version of our song. He had all of my family and my best friend fly in from Atlanta to be there. It was amazing and I had no idea!!”
So a huge congrats to Nick and Madison! You guys are hilarious, sweet, and just all around amazing people. Congrats and cheers!!
