I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Maggie and Kyler got married at The Cattle Barn in Cle Elum, WA and it was the coziest fall wedding! This barn wedding was filled with cute white pumpkins, cozy blankets, customized cookies, and black leather jackets! Basically everything you need to rock your fall wedding!! Maggie and Kyler are super adorable and all they wanted to do was hold hands and be together throughout their whole wedding day. The weather alone was crazy to work with and we even had to push back their ceremony to let the rain downpour pass, but it all worked out, some sunshine came out during the ceremony, and it was all gorgeous.
The Cattle Barn is one of my favorite venues to shoot at because they have this awesome country home as their ‘getting ready’ house, and then their barn is a perfect little rustic gem that’s perfect for a cozy country barn wedding feel. Maggie and Kyler also incorporated a really cool tradition into their ceremony that I really loved. “We will be drinking from a German bridal cup during the ceremony. Will make for a fun photo:) Basically a cup that the bride and groom will drink from at the same time,” said Maggie. The story behind the German Bridal Cup is so crazy and shows that nothing can stand in the way of true love. You can read the whole story about the bridal cup here. So cool!
So this is how their proposal went down: “Maggie’s favorite season is the fall so I knew thats when I wanted the engagement to happen. I ended up choosing Middleton Six Sons Farm fall festival. I set up a path of pumpkins with pictures of us on them that led to hay bails with flowers and pumpkins that spelled out will you marry me. I then got on one knee and asked her to marry me. She grabbed my face and kissed me, oh and of course said yes!”
When asked what their favorite thing about being together was, “We love taking our dog and going on adventures! Hiking and camping are some of our favorite things to do and hope to get out and do more in our new camper after all of the wedding craziness is over.”
So in love with Maggie and Kyler’s wedding day (especially Maggie’s custom leather jacket). Enjoy! Cheers!
