I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Rebecca and Caleb are officially married! These two had a romantic Seattle intimate elopement at an AirB+B in downtown Seattle and it was just these two lovebirds and their parents. Tons of friends and family Zoomed into their wedding ceremony and both Rebecca and Caleb had their brothers from other states Zoom in for their toasts. Their whole day was centered around Rebecca and Caleb and their entire relationship. It was so amazing! They had little details decorated all around the house and everything had a special meaning to it all. Details like a fern necklace Rebecca wore that was a gift from Caleb, little lego figures from Adventure Time, and so much more. The two met in college and the class where they met in, that professor was the one who officiated their wedding!
These two had an intimate day with just their parents in attendance, with a living room ceremony, Zoom toasts, a beautiful first dance, cutting a hand-made cake by Caleb’s mom, and then some bridal portraits up on the roof of this Seattle home. Super fun and such a chill day! My favorite detail was that Rebecca didn’t wear a traditional white dress but instead wore a fern, forest green gown and she looked so stunning!! When you elope your own way, you can seriously do whatever you want and wear whatever makes you feel like a bride. I absolutely love how different their wedding was and it was all so memorable. They made their own wedding rings and they even made their own cider with an adorable label on the bottle with their engagement session photo! Too amazing and adorable!
So this is how the proposal went down: “Rebecca proposed. we had definitely talked about it before and i decided that i wanted to be the one to propose. i suggested we have forts and pizza on a Friday after a long week of work for Caleb (something we normally did every once in a while anyway). we met up to get beer beforehand and then, when the pizza was in the oven, started setting up the fort. the oven beeped and Caleb went to check on the pizza and i rushed to the bedroom to grab the sword gift out from under our bed (where it had been hidden for a couple weeks). Caleb came back a little quicker than i thought, so there ended up being a fort between us as i proposed and i presented the sword to him over the top of the fort. but he said yes anyway, despite the awkwardness.”
Favorite part about being together: “having lots of fun adventures, but also doing nothing together. we’re both introverts, so being around people a lot can be stressful. before both of us could really only recharge by being alone, we can recharge by being together.” Too cute!
