Marymoor Park Concert:

NEEDTOBREATHE & Drew + Ellie Holcomb

Down in Redmond, WA at Marymoor Park, NEEDTOBREATHE and Drew+ Ellie Holcomb took the stage and rocked it all night. Did that sound dirty? haha This Marymoor Park Concert was such a blast and getting to meet the crew that makes the magic happen for these two great artists, it was so much fun! Shoutout to Stuart!

I was asked to photograph Drew and Ellie Holcomb and they are such warm spirits on stage. Ellie’s voice is so warm and lovely, you just want to hear her talk all night long! The duo have been doing this for years together and 3 kids later, they are still going strong and spreading the smiles around their country-style warm lyrics like “he buys me flowers for no reason” and “family”. If you want to feel a warm fuzzy comfort feeling, you need to listen to them 🙂

Then NEEDTOBREATHE took the stage with setting the scene from their newest album “The Long Surrender” (also the name of this tour) with golden harmonies and nothing but their voices with Bear, the lead singer’s, guitar. Then came the rock, they brought the rest of the band on stage and made everyone get on their feet and dance. Bear, the lead singer, his voice was also electric and warm. The country rasp he was giving was unreal and seriously such a gorgeous voice.

I was on a tight deadline for Ellie and Drew’s photos, so as they finished their set, I was uploading and editing their gallery with the sound crew haha Truly was living a dream and just loved being there to take photos and some video for these two great artists. I’m working on my video skills but once those are done, I’ll be uploading them here too 🙂 But for now, enjoy these images from this concert 🙂
