Megan + Pete | Olympia Bridal Portrait Session

Megan and Pete are married!! These two had a fun bridal portrait session at Megan’s parents home in Olympia, WA and we wondered all around their forest-vibe backyard and then to the Olympia Capitol building. These two actually got married a few months ago with their close family around them but they had to cancel their big wedding day due to the global pandemic. So rough and I feel for all couples who have to make those tough decisions. But! These two got married anyway and have been officially married for about a month now. We still wanted some fun bridal portraits to commemorate their marriage, so we had their bridal portrait session in Olympia, WA.

Documenting some family photos, wedding details, and adventuring to the Capitol building was all so much fun with these two, and their lab puppy, Winston of course!

I’ve never been to the Capitol building before, but it was so breathtaking! The stairs and the pillars were so beautiful and made for an awesome backdrop for these two newlyweds. Megan and Pete even had a meaningful “generations” board with family member’s wedding photos on their pallet. It was so cool to see their past families’ wedding photos while taking their wedding/ bridal photos. Super cool and special! They also wanted some shots of them with a cute little cheesecake with birds on top. They wanted to have some photos of them cutting a cake and be a little more bridal, and it was so cute. They really made the best out of a global pandemic and it was so fun hanging out with them and their family.
