I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Abby and Noah had such a stunning and moody Artist Point elopement last fall and I can’t stop thinking about it! They shuttled their closest friends and family from Ohio to get their dream Moody Artist Point Elopement! I cannot lie, this is one of my favorite elopements to date! What a way to wrap up a season with one of my final elopements with such a perfect couple! Their day was completely immersed in smiles, laughter, pure and utter sweetness. Their whole family was so much fun to hang out with and experience this day together with- like everyone was so lovely, friendly, and just made me want to stop time so I can spend more time with them all! This day truly felt like a family and I loved capturing it all for them!
After some getting ready photos at a nearby cabin, along with a first look overlooking the lake, we headed up to Artist Point for their ceremony at Picture Lake. With the stormy clouds around us, the mountains were not out for their day, but it was still stunning up in the North Cascades. They even had some whiskey for everyone to take a shot during the ceremony to calm the nerves. haha After the ceremony and portraits, the sun was quickly fading away, but we adventured up a little higher into the mountain to Heather Meadows to have Abby and Noah read their private personal vows to each other. While the light left us, the lanterns lit them up and it was such a cool and moody vibe. They totally rocked it, hiked around the mountains in the dark, and the photos turned out so cool!
I gotta say, these two adventure bugs had fearless and adventurous spirits! They love the outdoors and are always hiking and adventuring! Abby and Noah are even planning to trek to Patagonia next spring to hike about 80 miles! They are perfectly wild in all the best ways! Did you catch Abby’s back muscles?! They are ripped and prepped for any adventure!
Their kindred souls were met with so much love surrounded by their friends and family at their Artist Point Elopement. Abby and Noah’s entire family was so adorable. I had the best time hanging out with them. I “may or may not” be trying to convince everyone at the elopement to just move to Washington! This family is awesome and their wedding day was not enough time to hang out with everyone! The night concluded with a fancy 4-course meal together which they so lovely offered me a seat at the table to also experience the meal (omg thank you, it was incredible!). To end this amazing day, they danced a first dance on the back porch together to their favorite song.
One day was truly not enough time with this awesome group! I cannot wait to spend more time with this phenomenal pair, and hear all about how the beginning of their new life together is! I guess I will have to hop over to Ohio! Let my very own adventures begin!
