Cassidy and Tyler had a gorgeous summer Mt. Rainier Engagement Session up at Paradise Lodge side of the mountain last week. It was the very first week of August so the wildflowers were out and proud with no snow anywhere to be found! This year, the snow liked to hang around the mountain longer than normal, so right now most of the white wildflowers were out for their session. Cassidy and Tyler are so beyond adorable together as we adventured around the Paradise area up to Myrtle Falls and Nisqually Vista Loop. These two cuties traveled over 4 hours to get up to this magical place and it totally did not disappoint. Rainier was gorgeous, even though she hid behind some clouds most of their session, but at the end, she poked out and was gorgeous as always.
Usually Paradise is about a 2 hour trip for me from Yakima, but since the winter decided to damage some of the highway along Stevens Canyon, we had to go around through the Longmire entrance in the Ashford area. So just a heads up- you can’t enter the Stevens canyon road Monday-Thursday and with long delays on Friday-Sunday due to construction. You can find more information on the MRNP twitter.
Anyway! Cassidy and Tyler are getting married next summer over on the west side and I am so excited for them! They have known each other for over 9 years and have been dating for 4, so now they are engaged! They are having a wonderful big wedding next year and it’s going to be such a party! It was so fun hanging out with these two up on the mountain last week and this makes me even more excited for their wedding day! Congrats to Cassidy + Tyler!!
