Ellen and Matt, and their puppy Cooper, had their super moody Rattlesnake Lake engagement photos done last weekend and it was amazing. Yes, it was freezing and Ellen was about to turn into a human Popsicle, but it was still fun to capture these two being super goofy in the forest and lakeside. Ellen and Matt are getting married this year across the country in Wisconsin but planning for these two has been a breeze! However, if you’re reading this and you’re a wedding vendor in WI, they are still looking for a a few great vendors out there- just saying!

These two cuties met way back in the day at school in their Orchestra class, so naturally, our soundtrack for their engagement session was  the Vitamin String Quartet playlist on Spotify haha It was perfect and totally set the mood. Ellen and Matt were absolutely adorable and I can’t believe they have never had their photos taken professionally. They were so natural in front of my camera, took direction well, and looked absolutely incredible. We adventured all around Rattlesnake Lake over by the trailhead and then lakeside where all the stumps were chilling- I call it Stumptown. Cooper was the best puppy around and did so good! Ellen and Matt also bought him a cute little space puppy leash and it was totally adorable. Now I have to go buy one for Ellie!

Their session was super fun, a bit chilly and very PNW vibes all around. The mist on Rattlesnake Ledge was super stunning and the mood was all around beautiful. So a huge cheers and congratulations to Ellen and Matt for tying this knot this year! Woohoo!
