I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Claire and V had a snowy Mount Rainier Elopement that blanketed their ceremony in a bright white winter wonderland. These two electric love birds spent their morning getting ready together in a cozy A-frame cabin. The cabin was surrounded in rich forestry and and deep greens! It was glistening from the dewy leftover of a rainstorm, and creating the most romantic scene! These two brides were the perfect balance of personality in my opinion. The energy Claire has is something to be sought after! I was so drawn in to her energy and how hyped she was to marry her best friend! V was right by her side to compliment her with all the kisses, hugs, and silly giggles. Their love for one another made shooting this elopement one of the most effortless days of my career.
Following Claire and V getting ready, we adventured up into the snowy depths of their Mount Rainier Elopement. There, we snowshoeing up the slopes in over a foot of snow, and found the perfect spot to say ‘I do’. If there was ever an elopement that replicated a fairytale, this was it! Furthermore, two friends alongside V’s sister, played part as their officiant and witness. The ceremony speech was so touching and described Claire and V’s relationship immaculately. In addition to the moving words, Claire and V shared a cracker and jam, as a unity charcuterie. This was so unique, yet so fitting for these two. Following the ceremony and signing of their marriage license, they FaceTimed all of their closest friends to surprise them! Everything about their day just filled my heart creatively.
Lastly, it was super snowy up on the mountain with a veil of fog that crept in toward the end of the ceremony. It was as if their Mount Rainier Elopement had been showered with natures confetti! Therefore, when planning for an event such as a snow-covered elopement, keep in mind how the weather plays a critical part! Keep in mind to check for park access points, road closures, and area closures. This changes throughout the year, and can be an unfortunate shift to a special moment if you do not keep yourself aware. However, if you are looking for a winter wonderland of your own, this is the perfect spot to start your new life with the love of your life!
