Ilani Casino & Resort Concert

Switchfoot rocked the stage at the Ilani Casino and Resort in Ridgefield, WA in June 2026 and it was beyond incredible. This Switchfoot Concert was one of their bests and it was a night where all my dreams came true. Lucky for me, the Switchfoot team didn’t have a tour photographer on hand, so they had me come along for some backstage and onstage content. I’ve been a life-long Switchfoot fan and this was truly a dream opportunity for me.

I was able to capture some prep before the show where the boys went over the set list, I met the other two opening bands who also killed it, Fuel, and Lit, and got the lay of the land when it comes to getting on stage, into the crowed, etc. It was such an amazing moment where I got to meet every member of Switchfoot, have a full conversation about my tattoos with their lead singer, Jon Foreman, and take a cute huddle shot from the ground for them all before heading on stage. Even after their show, they all thanked me for being there to capture everything for them. Seriously classy guys.

Being on stage was wild! I’ve shot bands performing on stage before, but this was something else entirely. Switchfoot knows the stage like the back of their hand, and performed perfectly. They played all their hits like “Stars”, “Meant to Live”, “Gone”, and some of their new singles off their newly released album, “Forever Now”. Truly incredible! I also got some clues and insider info from the tour manager and lighting head about when certain cues on stage were to happen, so it was all perfectly planned out. Truly had the best time with everyone there, every second was a dream come true, and I hope I get to see everyone again this coming November for their next show in Seattle.
