Kacie and Kevin had an awesome Tacoma Engagement Session right on the waterfront at Point Defiance Park and a sunset at Owen Beach. This whimsical couple came accompanied by Kevin’s brother and their perfect, sweetest pooch, Frankie. These two brought even more light and life to Kacie and Kevin’s special moments. Kevin’s brother was a tremendous support in elevating their imagery with this eerily, yet indescribably breathtaking smoke effect in the forest of Point Defiance Park. Meanwhile, Kacie and Kevin had the most fun time playing with their setting, thus highlighting Point Defiance Park’s most epic features! We further adventured throughout the all of the woodlands, landing us at Owen Beach together to capture some sunset moments. Mount Rainier was out and proud, equally showing all of its glory! The trees curved out, the beach highlighted with driftwood, this spot was the perfect fit!

Nevertheless, one critical detail to note when planning this alluring destination as your Tacoma Engagement Session locale-timing is of the ever most importance! The gorgeous northern sun sets just on the left side of Owen Beach settling behind the hillside. Be sure to get there early enough to catch the last moments of light, as there will be an illuminating mountain just to the right of you. It is not overwhelming with too much of a golden hour. However the dynamic contrast of the forest and waterfront makes for a funky scene!

It was such a gorgeous day for this Tacoma Engagement Session! We had so many laughs, and so many smiles during this shoot. Needless to say, that the smoke and lanterns turned this into one of the most memoreable moments, resulting in a the best video!
