I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
With only about 20 guests, Jessy and Zach had the most intimate and dreamy elopement at one of Washington’s coolest venues—Treehouse Point. I’ve always wanted to shoot here, and these two finally made all my treehouse dreams come true! From the moment we arrived, the day was filled with cozy, whimsical vibes and endless photo opportunities.
The weather brought gorgeous cloudy skies, perfect for playing around the trails with the stunning, epic treehouses as our backdrop. Jessy and Zach even stayed in one of the treehouses that evening, which was the perfect cozy ending to their magical day. And yes, while the spiders made a few cameo appearances (they were persistent, let’s say that), nothing could slow us down!
Their ceremony was held on the lower lawn, filled with heartfelt traditions. Jessy and Zach incorporated beautiful Jewish wedding customs, including walking around each other seven times, smashing the glass, and getting married under a canopy. It was incredibly meaningful and so sweet to witness.
One of my favorite parts of the day was that Jessy and Zach are film photographers themselves. They generously let me take a whole roll of film on their vintage camera, and it was such a dream!! I’ve now caught the film bug myself, so expect lots more in the future.
After the ceremony, we captured stunning photos, had a little dance party, gave heartfelt toasts, cut cake, and then everyone headed to a nearby restaurant for a relaxed meal together. The whole day was simple, lovely, and full of joy.
Jessy and Zach are the kind of people who radiate love, kindness, and fun. They’re not only partners but truly best friends for life. Honestly, I’m hoping they’ll move from the Bay Area to the PNW soon so I can photograph them more!
This Treehouse Point Elopement will always be one of my absolute favorites—it was magical, intimate, and filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments!
