I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
When Matt and I were planning our wedding, we decided that we wanted to pay for everything ourselves. So naturally, being the penny savers we are, we wanted to find ways to save a little bit of money. I thought of some creative ways to do just that! One, being our RSVP cards.
Instead of buying cards that match our invitations, I came up with the idea that made our cards stand out. We got a customized RSVP stamp of this adorable mason jar with a ‘please respond by’ date on Etsy for like $30. Then I got some brown cardstock and matching envelopes at my local craft store, got some white ink, and bam! I stamped my heart out for hours, but it saved us almost $250!! Yeah!!
So, when you’re in a little bind to save some money on your wedding day, just remember that anything can be DIY. If you have a long engagement, like we had over a year engagement, you’ll have time to price things out and see what works best for you and that breathes your personality.
If you guys have made or are making your own wedding stationery, I would love to see!
Join me next Wednesday, right here on the IG, for another dose of Sarah Jane’s Bridal Banter. Thanks for reading, friends!
