I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
An Artist Point anniversary session is hard to beat if you love mountain views, alpine lakes, and celebrating your relationship somewhere that feels like an adventure.
Sam and Cliff came up to Artist Point to celebrate three years of marriage by spending time together in one of their favorite kinds of places: the mountains.
Even with snow still covering parts of the landscape, there was no shortage of beautiful spots to explore. We wandered through the Artist Point area, carefully navigating the remaining snow before making our way to Picture Lake and several overlooks that showed off everything that makes this corner of Washington so incredible.
One of my favorite things about sessions at Artist Point is that every visit feels a little different. Depending on the time of year, you might find wildflowers, lingering snowfields, crystal-clear mountain lakes, or dramatic clouds rolling over the peaks. This evening gave us beautiful alpine light that settled over the mountains just before sunset, creating the perfect backdrop for documenting this milestone.
Anniversary sessions don’t have to be elaborate to be meaningful. Sometimes the best way to celebrate is simply slowing down together, revisiting the adventurous spirit that brought you together in the first place, and creating new memories along the way.
Sam and Cliff spent the evening laughing, exploring, and taking in the scenery without rushing from one location to the next. Those quieter moments often become the ones couples remember most.
Artist Point continues to be one of my favorite places for couples who love the outdoors. Between the mountain views, the peaceful lakes, and the changing landscapes throughout the season, it’s a location that never disappoints.
Happy anniversary, Sam and Cliff. Here’s to many more years of adventures together.
