I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
You know when two people look at each other a certain way that everyone chases and wants? The way that says “I’m so absolutely and totally in love with every part of you”? That’s how Kenny looks at Bri.
Their wedding at Rainier Golf and Country Club was filled with those moments all day long.
I kept catching Kenny looking at his bride throughout the day. During portraits, during dinner, on the dance floor. It didn’t matter what was happening around them. Every time he looked at Bri, he looked completely and totally in love.
These two first met during their freshman year at the University of Washington. What started as study dates and grabbing food on The Ave eventually turned into nearly six years together before Kenny proposed at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. In true Kenny fashion, the proposal involved careful planning, an early morning arrival, and his mom secretly hiding nearby with a camera and a wig so she wouldn’t be recognized. Bri had absolutely no idea what was happening until he got down on one knee.
The two spent the rest of the day walking through the tulip fields before celebrating at a winery nearby. A year later, they returned to the same fields together, making the memory even more meaningful.
One of the things I loved most about Bri and Kenny is how they describe their relationship. When asked their favorite part about being together, they said it’s simple and comforting. Whether they’re watching a Mariners game, trying a new restaurant, hosting friends and family in the backyard, or doing absolutely nothing at all, life is just better together.
That feeling carried through their entire wedding day.
Rainier Golf and Country Club provided the perfect setting for their celebration. The powder blue details and pastel florals complemented the venue beautifully, creating an elegant and timeless look without feeling overdone. Family and friends gathered from every chapter of their lives, from college friendships to longtime family relationships, creating a room full of people genuinely excited to celebrate them.
One of the most meaningful details of the day was the vintage family car that Bri’s dad and brother restored in time for the wedding. Not only was it an incredible addition to the day visually, but it represented the love and effort that so many people poured into making this celebration special.
The ceremony was heartfelt, the toasts were emotional, and the reception was an absolute blast. The dance floor stayed packed all night, with guests fully embracing the celebration. At one point, even the groomsmen were having such a good time that shirts started coming off on the dance floor.
As the sun began to set, airplanes crossed overhead on their approach to SeaTac, creating a uniquely Seattle backdrop for the evening. It was beautiful, a little loud during the ceremony, and completely memorable.
Bri and Kenny… Just a gorgeous day with a gorgeous couple.
