I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Fox Hollow Farm in Issaquah, Washington was the perfect setting for Megan and Heath to celebrate nearly six years together and get married, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
From the very beginning of the day, there was no shortage of emotion. Happy tears, big hugs, laughter, and so much excitement filled every part of the celebration. It was one of those wedding days where you could feel just how loved the couple was from the moment guests started arriving.
Megan and Heath’s story began in the summer of 2020 during the height of Covid. After matching on Bumble and spending hours talking, their first official date took place in Tower Grove Park in St. Louis. What started with wine, Thai takeout, and no utensils quickly turned into something much bigger. Over the next several years, they built a life together before eventually making the move to Seattle when Megan began her pediatric residency.
Their wedding day at Fox Hollow Farm reflected so much of what makes their relationship special. The ceremony included a meaningful Celtic handfasting tradition, symbolizing the commitment they were making to one another in front of their closest family and friends. There were tears throughout the ceremony, plenty of laughter mixed in, and a constant feeling of joy surrounding the entire day.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour, complete with one of the biggest crowd favorites of the day: beer burros. It did not take long for those adorable four-legged guests to become the center of attention.
As the evening continued, the celebration only grew louder. Friends and family packed the dance floor, speeches brought more tears, and every moment felt like a reflection of the incredible support system surrounding Megan and Heath. It was clear that so many people were genuinely excited to celebrate this next chapter alongside them.
Documenting this wedding was such an honor. From the emotional first look to the final moments on the dance floor, every part of the day was filled with love, joy, and connection. Congratulations, Megan and Heath. Thank you for trusting me to capture such a meaningful celebration.
