I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Basha and David had a gorgeous Hebe’s Hideout A-Frame Cabin Elopement in Ashford, WA. They flew all the way up from Florida to elope in the forest at Mt. Rainier National Park and the PNW did not disappoint. They spent their whole week adventuring around Washington State from Forks, to Diablo Lake in the North Cascades. They ended their week with getting married at the most adorable A-Frame Cabin to complete their PNW experience.
Basha and I originally chatted about how the weather was going to be and typically in Ashford in late June, we’re looking at 50 degrees or so, but Washington had a giant heat wave and we were in the 90’s for their elopement. So Basha had to change her dress last minute from a gown with long sleeves to none. But she absolutely rocked her halter satin gown. She was gorgeous! We started the day with an adorable first look on the deck of the cabin, portraits around the woods, and then into their ceremony. They had their own personal vows and then an intimate foot washing in their ceremony. They then had their first dance on the cabin steps, ate some vegan donuts at the cutest tables-cape ever, and then more portraits with Dobby the Drone in some daisies. Basically a dreamy and perfect elopement!
One of my favorite moments throughout their day was when I asked Basha what she loved the most about David, and she said “his eyes and his beard” as she was playing with his beard throughout the day. Too adorable and too cute!
When I asked Basha what her favorite part about being together was, she said, “that we can be ourselves with no worries if he or she will think I’m dorky”. They love to do together: “Anything like going biking, walking, finding new places to go to, the movies, kayaking, mostly outdoor things or just being home watching harry potter or marvel movies”. They are too cute and I loved it when David was crying after reading his vows and seeing her for the first time at their first look.
Congratulations to these two adorable people and I hope you come back to the PNW again soon! It suites you guys! Cheers!
