I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Tyanne and Nate had a fabulous Montvale Event Center Wedding filled with all the downtown Spokane vibes. With a haunted victorian old dance hall, downtown portraits, and a rooftop bridal portrait session, their day was amazing and stunning. These two adorable people had an intimate wedding day in downtown Spokane with close friends and family and even some awesome swing dancing during the reception. They kept everything simple and beautiful so the focus was all on them and how much in love they are with each other.
The lighting in this event center was beyond stunning. With two giant dance ballrooms, you could just see the history of this place and can imagine all the epic dance moves that would have occurred in these halls. I loved all the lights surrounding the 3rd floor dance room that just added to the vintage building’s history. They even had some really cool vintage suitcases that just added even more to the overall vibe of their day and to highlight their details.
Okay, so this is how Tyanne and Nate met: “We met in our calculus class at Eastern Washington University. We had one person in between us and at the start of one of our classes when there weren’t many students there yet, Nate noticed I was playing Pokemon Go and sparked up a conversation. We bonded over that and our struggle through calc.”
This is how the proposal went down: “Nate is very outdoorsy, he loves hiking, so he took me up to Mount Spokane and popped the question there. It was towards the end of November 2019, the mountain was snowy (I love the snow), we took the dogs with us and Nate had brought a back pack full of snacks and hot coco. After we finished snacking and the cold started setting in Nate got down on one knee and asked. We are both pretty low key people so it was perfect for us. Now whenever we hike over there I think about it.”
Their wedding day was so special and unique and I’m so thrilled to be sharing with you all their wedding gallery here. Ty and Nate are so sweet and really great dancers haha Cheers to the newlyweds!
