I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Capturing moments that make you say “oh my gosh, that’s SO us” is what I strive for. Being goofy, dancing a little, and having fun is what I’m about. On your wedding day, I make sure you’re totally relaxed and you don’t have to worry so you can soak every moment in. I’ll be your third mom, your cheerleader, organizer, water fetcher, dance partner, and the girl who makes weird noises when we make magical photos together. We’re 100% in this together, so I’ll be there to keep us on schedule, make sure you’re hydrated and fed, fix your hair, and all the things.
While you’re savoring every moment with friends and family, I’m capturing your biggest day that best represents your style and those ‘that’s so us’ moments, so you’ll have memories that make you smile for lifetimes.
Planning a wedding in Bellingham, Washington? Bellingham is so near and dear to my heart because not only did I go to Western Washington University for college for a couple years, but my husband and I always go up there once a year for a little vacation together. If I’m not shooting in Bellingham, I’m adventuring all around the northern area of Washington state including Oak Harbor, Mt. Vernon, Deception Pass, and more. Some of my favorite spots in Bellingham is of course the Boulevard Boardwalk, Woods Coffee, the Russian dumpling restaurant, walking around the mall, and Larrabee State Park (my new favorite). We always find great spots to shoot at and love trying new places to eat and relax. Also, if you haven’t tried a Boomer Burger, bro, get on that! So amazing! Traveling up to Bellingham is my favorite thing to do and Bellingham weddings and engagement sessions are some of my favorites. If you’re planning a wedding up in Bellingham, WA, I would absolutely love to be considered as your wedding photographer! Here are some of my favorite galleries of weddings and elopements in Bellingham, WA.

“Hiring Sarah was one of our best wedding decisions. She is SO much more than just your photographer. She took so much time beforehand to meet with us, review timelines, & help us envision what the day would look like. She provided lots of great resources and helped connect us to other vendors. While her photos & style are clearly beautiful, we ultimately went with Sarah because of her fun personality and how well she “clicked” with us. She truly made us feel so comfortable, made us laugh, and felt just as excited as we were throughout the whole process. She even calmed my nerves the day of! Sarah kept everyone on a timeline the day of our wedding, and really made sure things went according to plan. She coordinated so much of our big day, all while taking stunninggg pictures that we will cherish forever. She went above and beyond for us, and we cannot thank her enough.” – Megan + Sam, 2021
We were so incredibly lucky to have had Sarah as both our engagement and wedding photographer. She was so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. In every way Sarah went above and beyond for us from making a detailed time line for us on the wedding day to checking in to make sure that I had enough food and water. She also got our photos back to us at an incredible speed and I am still not sure how she pulls it all off (perhaps the help of Dobby). I am amazed by how she was able to capture so many amazing moments. Not many photographers are willing to go full ninja-mode jumping into bushes to make sure she got just the right sunset shot, but Sarah did it with a smile! – Madison + Nick, 2021
