I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Carrie and Justin had a gorgeous, and lovely Rainy Lairmont Manor Wedding out in Bellingham, WA. After shooting their engagement shoot out in the mountains, I knew their wedding was going to be special and it totally was! Even with the rain, these two made their day oh so cozy and in true Bellingham style. They kept their first look down the aisle, so they each got ready in different locations, then saw each other at the local Catholic Church, Church of the Assumption. After having a traditional Catholic ceremony there, we adventured back to their reception venue, the glamorous Lairmont Manor (also known as my favorite venue of all time), and had portraits there before the rain, and their entire lovely reception. It was such a fun time capturing the smiles between Carrie and Justin, seeing them dance together looking so gorgeous, and everyone there was so much fun! Their wedding day was so full of beauty that so much happened and I might have ‘over shot’ this wedding, but I didn’t care- it was stunning all around and I wish it never ended!
Alright, so this is how Carrie and Justin met: “We technically met in AP seminar at Jackson High School, when Justin was a junior and carrie was a sophomore. We became friends on a school trip trip though, where Carrie accidentally sat on a 3 legged chair on a boat in Budapest, Hungary. Justin saw her about to sit in the chair, and he dove and caught her fall. That night, Carrie laughed harder than she had ever laughed in her life in the hotel lobby talking to him. About 1 year later, Justin asked Carrie on a date, and they went to a Mariner’s game, where they had their first kiss and Justin asked her to prom.”
And this is how Justin proposed: “After mass, Justin took Carrie to the fire tower lookout in Helena, MT, where carrie went to college. Her roommate and MOH, Kaitlynn set up candles and fairy lights before hand to set the scene. Justin got on one knee, and carrie was laughing and crying bc she was so happy, but the ring box was upside down. She turned the box the right way and then immediately said yes, and the rest is history.”
So a huge congratulations to Carrie and Justin! You guys are so cute together and your day was beyond amazing! Cheers!
